About Sinner Ella

Mother, Skater, Friend, Lover, Fighter, Student.

I am here to share my personal, but NON-PROFESSIONAL and NON-MEDICAL views, advice, suggestions, and experience on all things mind/body/spirit/sexual health and body image.

I am a student of life, though I have spent the last few years as an actual college student studying mainly psychology. I am on a perpetual journey of self discovery, as I feel most people should be. Every day is a chance to learn something new and help change your life as well as the lives of others.

I am a mother to a preteen girl and teenage boy and we’re all trying really hard to make it through this phase of life alive and with as little psychological damage as possible.

I love to roller skate and am a roller derby girl. I love manual labor and to work in the yard just as much, if not more than I love to lie in the sun and read a good book. I speak sarcasm as a second language, I am a professional when it comes to creative insults and profanity, I love dogs (especially my 80 lb pit bull that thinks he’s a 5 lb chihuahua) and find cats EXTREMELY creepy. I overshare and become way too emotionally invested in television characters and I have an EXTREMELY hot temper. I believe that family is the most important thing in life, whether chosen or given.

  1. Hi there
My name is Chris Wilson, and I run a blog at bublicksblog.org

I have recently been nominated for a Liebster award by a fellow blogger, and part of the award system is to nominate up tom 11 blogs of under 1000 followers that you feel deserve greater attention and recognition.

The details of how the wards work can be seen by clicking this link-Liebster awards- and my choice of nominees has been chosen to reflect those who are suffering from mental illnesses such as Depression, and to identify blogs that try and help those who suffer from such a condition.

As regards my own background, well, I’m a survivor. I was a social misfit when I was younger, and still am to a certain degree. I have been through several breakdowns and one suicide attempt, and even now I have very little self worth, self respect, self interest, and only marginal confidence; yet I am still here.
One thing I have learnt though is that such conditions need to be discussed more freely, and bridges built between sufferers and non sufferers from mental illnesses. As such I hope you accept this nomination and participate in this scheme as much as you can.

As suffers of such conditions , we are not alone within society, so let’s help more people understand what is going on in our mind
So these are my questions for you

The questions below reflect my experience with mental illness, and have been prepared for others to gain an insight as regards what is involved. As such the questions have been forwarded to the other 9 nominated blogs that follow this set of questions, but please feel free to comment upon anything you read, and, of course to ask any questions that might come to mind

    1. The three words you would use to describe your blog
    2. What drove you to start your blog
    3. Do you believe there is a cure for mental illness
    4. Can mental health sufferers help others in the community to understand mental health problems
    5. Which treatment have you found most beneficial
    6. Do you think mental illness should be regarded within society as an “illness”, a “disability”, or as an “opportunity” to understand other ways of thinking
    7. Do you feel any positives can be drawn from such conditions. If so, what positives
    8. Do you feel that the gap between sufferers and non sufferers can ever be really bridged
    9. Do you have any survival or remedial tips to pass on to anyone
    10. What keeps you going when times are tough
    11. Try and complete the sentence… Tomorrow I can, Tomorrow I will…..
